Louis Deacon

Back and neck traumas have caused Louis to miss many a league and international match. However following surgery to his neck in October 2010, Louis took action. The following month he complemented his recovery and healing regime with Pilates and investing in a Mammoth Elite Sport mattress.

““The Mammoth mattress certainly has helped my recovery and injuries – it really is fantastic” Living proof then that the Mammoth sport mattress works for big men like Louis, as well as slender distance runners like Liz Yelling. ”
Louis Deacon

Now 30, the England second rower is enjoying the best form of his life now and has firmly cemented his place in the forward pack of England’s rugby world cup campaign. “I’d recommend Mammoth’s Sport mattresses to anyone who values their sleep and comfort.”

Joel Jameson

Since upgrading to a Mammoth Sport mattress, Joel has experienced relief from aches and pains and a better night’s sleep all round. Deep sleep, recovery and cell repair are critical for any cyclist, runner or swimmer, let alone for someone who does all three to such extremes.

“The Mammoth Sport mattress has given me the opportunity to train harder and more effectively. Basically a better night’s sleep means better training, and better performances.”
Joel Jamesom

Joel’s current objective is to win a world title for the half-Ironman. Coached under Martin Yelling, husband to Olympic Marathon Runner Liz Yelling, Joel is well placed to achieve his athletic ambitions, with Mammoth forming part of his training and recovery regime.

“Distance athletes and world title ambitions aside, I really would recommend Mammoth’s Elite Sport mattress to anyone whom takes their health seriously. A must have bit of gear....and the miss’us loves it too!”

Liz Yelling and the Mammoth mattress

For marathon runner Liz Yelling, the Mammoth Elite Sports Mattress proves to be an effective pain management solution as well as a vital element in her training programme.

“I could tell the difference immediately – I was able to sleep on my side and the foam relieved the usual pressure. My morning hip pain has disappeared. I wake up refreshed and ready for training every day.”
Liz Yelling

Commonwealth medallist Liz clocks up an impressive 100 – 120 miles per week during training. With such a punishing regime, rest and recovery are crucial to maximise her performance. She and her partner Martin found their Mammoth mattress delivered support and comfort in a different league. The high specification foam insulates them from one another’s movements during the night and affords Liz an undisturbed sleep.

Finishing in the top 10 in April’s London Marathon with a personal best of 2.28, Liz is in prime condition and has her sights set on the Beijing Olympics in August.

Sleep and recovery have a huge impact on my performance and my ability to train. I have to admit that I don't truly understand how the Mammoth mattress works, but all I do know is that I sleep well, and that works for me. The girlfriend also loves it, so I am happy about that too…. If not more so!

Kieran Richardson

Premiership footballer Kieran Richardson has come back from injury, avoiding the surgeon's knife with help from the Mammoth Elite Sports Mattress.

“The Mammoth mattress is brilliant - it's really comfortable and it helped me to get the sleep I needed to make a full recovery from my back injury. I'd definitely recommend it.”
Keiran Richardson

When the Sunderland and England international mid-fielder sustained the back, doctors advised him to take a break from the game to allow the stress fracture to heal or face an uncertain operation.

Kieran opted for long term rest and turned to the Mammoth to speed his recovery. His mattress served to relieve pressure enabling Kieran to sleep whilst providing precisely the support and posture alignment needed to allow natural healing to take place.

3 months later Kieran was fit and back in play helping his team retain their premiership place for next season.
